Join The Food Mill for Cultivating Community: Fall Harvest Luncheon, an afternoon celebrating community, connection, partnership, and the shared work that is creating a healthier Chattahoochee Valley.
At The Food Mill, we believe meaningful change happens when a community comes together—not simply to address hunger in the moment, but to build solutions that improve access to nutritious food, strengthen health, increase knowledge, and create lasting opportunity.
During this special luncheon, guests will hear more about the work happening throughout our community and the partnerships that make that work possible. We will host an engaging fireside chat with community partners, offering an inside look at how collaboration is helping The Food Mill move beyond transactional food assistance toward transformational solutions to nutrition insecurity.
Celebrating Those Who Cultivate Change
A highlight of the afternoon will be the presentation of our 2nd Annual Ashley Turner Cultivator Award.
The Ashley Turner Cultivator Award recognizes an individual or community partner who embodies the spirit of cultivation—someone whose leadership, service, generosity, and commitment have helped plant seeds of change and create opportunities for our community to flourish.
Just as a harvest is the result of many hands working together, the impact of The Food Mill is made possible by farmers, healthcare partners, educators, businesses, volunteers, donors, nonprofit organizations, and neighbors who believe that access to healthy food can change lives.
Cultivating Community is our opportunity to bring those hands together around one table.
Guests will enjoy lunch while connecting with fellow community leaders, partners, supporters, and friends of The Food Mill and learning more about the impact of programs including our Mobile Market, Food is Medicine initiatives, Cooking Matters nutrition education, Heart Healthy Pantry, and other community-based efforts.
